Alvvays at 9:30 Club

On the last stop on their tour, Alvvays treated the sold out 9:30 Club crowd to a wonderful performance. On the set list, the band included all but one song off their new album, Antisocialites, including “Dreams Tonite” and “In Undertow.” They also performed a few songs off their debut album such as their first single, “Archie, Marry Me,” to which lead singer Molly Rankin said to the audience, “we’ll need your help with this one.” Frankie Rose opened for Alvvays and performed a dark and moody set highlighted by a fantastic cover of The Cure’s “In Your House.” It was a great night of music by both bands.
