Jul 17 @ 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Dc Abortion Fund and DCAF Release @ ANXO Cidery & Pintxos Bar | Washington | District of Columbia | United States

ANXO is proud to be partnering with the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF) to host an event on Wednesday, July 17th at our Truxton Circle location. We will be releasing a special cider called DC as F*ck, made from a blend of apples from our favorite orchards, which will become a product we launch every year in July to support the DC Abortion Fund! $1 from each glass of this cider will be donated to DCAF, as well as 100% of the proceeds from a raffle of goods from local businesses including a free night at The Line hotel and gift cards to amazing DC restaurants such as $100 to Chez Bill Sud. We have a matcher for this event who is willing to double what we raise, so spread the word and come out and support reproductive health rights for all! If you can’t make it, you can still order a t-shirt to be delivered to you by clicking here, with proceeds again going to DCAF.

Unwind your summer day on the Kennedy Center rooftop! In partnership with local organizations and breweries, the Roof Terrace becomes your destination for a happy hour like no other. Wander upstairs where contemporary artists perform to panoramic views of D.C.’s most famous monuments. Sample free tastings from local breweries or enjoy cocktail specials and half-priced beer and wine.

On July 11, Kennedy Center x Ritmos Raros present the Immigrant Sounds Rooftop Party, featuring Neal Becton (Som Records) & Marcello Bentine (Batida DC) & Sir Ramases (Afro Ritmo Records)
Ritmos Raros is a moving but never ending nostalgic tropical vinyl dance floor party dedicated to the rare and normally unheard rhythms of Africa, Latin America, India, Caribbean, Brazilian and the Arab variety. Enjoy brews from this week’s featured brewery: 3 Stars Brewing.

Japanese four-piece CHAI may worship at the altar of kawaii – their homeland’s culture of cute – but they’re not about to be pushed around by the idle bosses and the ignorant patriarchy. The ultra-concise pop of their debut LP PINK is about to be overhauled on their new album. CHAI are ready to light the fuse; CHAI are PUNK. Enjoy brews from this week’s featured brewery: 3 Stars Brewing.
